Online Equine Static & Dynamic Assessment

Deluxe in Dubai offer an online equine static and dynamic assessment, allowing you to receive a detailed review of your horse’s posture and movement without an in-person visit. To carry out a thorough and accurate assessment, we require clear, well-lit images and videos of your horse. Please take your time to capture these carefully — good visual quality allows us to evaluate posture, symmetry, movement patterns, and overall musculoskeletal function effectively.

Using your images and videos, we’ll be able to perform a detailed analysis of your horse’s static posture, conformation and symmetry, dynamic movement, and any asymmetries or compensatory patterns that may be affecting comfort or performance.

Any advice will be recorded in the written report you’ll receive following the assessment.

Tips for best results:

  • Use natural daylight when possible.
  • Film in landscape orientation (horizontal).
  • Avoid zooming — move closer or further away instead.
  • Keep background clutter to a minimum.
  • If someone is helping you, ensure they stay calm and quiet to avoid altering the horse’s natural way of going.

Static Assessment (Photographs)

Please provide clear, full-body photographs of your horse standing square on level, hard ground. Ensure the horse is clean, standing still, and that the camera is positioned at approximately mid-body height.

Submit one photo from each of the following angles:

  • Front view – straight-on, showing from the top of the ears, including chest, down to the bottom of the hooves
  • Hind view – directly from behind, showing both hindlimbs
  • Left side view – full-body profile
  • Right side view – full-body profile

Ensure your horse is standing as square as possible, with all four feet visible and evenly placed on a flat hard surface.

Dynamic Assessment (Videos)

Please record your horse moving on a flat, even surface with minimal distraction. Videos should be clear, steady, and show the entire horse throughout.

  • Straight-line movement

Record each gait away from the camera and then back towards the camera:

    • Walk
    • Trot

Each pass should be at least 15–20 seconds long.

  • Lunge work

Record on a consistent circle, keeping the whole horse in view throughout:

    • Walk
    • Trot
    • Canter
  • Record at least 3 circuits in each gait.
